HSG (Hysterosalpingography)

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a specialized radiological imaging test used to evaluate the structure of the uterus and fallopian tubes.

During this test, a contrast dye is injected into the uterus, and X-rays are taken to check whether the fallopian tubes are open or blocked. HSG is one of the essential tests required before starting IVF treatment. It helps detect blockages in the fallopian tubes or structural abnormalities in the uterus.

HSG plays a crucial role in investigating the causes of infertility and helps determine the necessary treatment options to improve pregnancy chances.
